We have a Veriflo XLtm valve filter, model FP714T. Can you tell me what the capacity or gallons specifications are? Can you also tell me what the life expectancy of this filter should be. I have to purchase a new pump and am trying to determine if I need to replace the filter too.

What is the filter model number? The model you show appears to be the valve number.
what causes air to build up in the filter that in return slows the water flow?
